IST ConnectX, hosted by the IST Alumni Society, will be a day for alumni to engage students, share their professional experiences, and collaborate on a case study that will challenge them to utilize their IST education to implement real-world solutions for real-world companies. ConnectX will consist of three events, held both in person at Westgate and online through zoom. Please select which events you would like to participate in.

 Join us online to learn how an IST Cyber Security professional protects critical systems and sensitive information from digital attacks as he develops security plans to protect operational technology within global manufacturing facilities.

1:25 - 2:15 p.m. (Virtual or In-Person) - Legal and Regulatory Impact on Tech  

The tech sector has seen tremendous growth over the past few decades, but will regulation press the break on innovation? Hear more from an IST Alumni on how data usage, consumer privacy, and content moderation will impact the industries you’ll soon be working in! Select this option if you will be joining in-person - limited seats available.

2:30 - 4:00 p.m.  (In-Person) - Alumni ConnectX & Cyber Case Study  Challenge

Our keynote event gives you the opportunity to connect with our amazing IST Alumni who will share their experiences in the various industries they represent. Then we’ll challenge you to use your foundational IST education, in partnership with the IST Alumni, to solve a real-world cyber case study while representing various tech companies! This option is in-person only.
