Alumni Institute on Fly Fishing Featuring George Daniel

Join one of the country’s leading fly fishing experts, Penn State instructor George Daniel, for a special three-part virtual alumni institute that will help you become a master of the sport of angling. Whether you’re a novice or a veteran of the stream, these programs will offer tips, techniques, and words of wisdom to help take you to the next level.

George is a former competitive angler for Fly Fishing Team USA, and former Coach for both USA Youth and Adult Fly Fishing Teams. He has written three books and has published countless articles for fly fishing magazines. George is director and lead instructor for Penn State’s Angling Program – a position once held by George’s fly fishing mentor, the legendary Joe Humphreys. George also leads on-stream instructional sessions for members of the public and offers clinics/presentations throughout the United States.

Please see the different registration options below. You can register for the individual programs, which you will have to do so and pay for separately, or you can register for the bundle (includes all three programs), which is one registration and payment.

The program will air three consecutive weeks on Oct. 20, Oct. 27, and Nov. 17 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (ET).

**Proceeds from the program will benefit the Penn State Fly Fishing program housed in the Department of Kinesiology.
