Polar Bear Plunge

Proceeds go to support THON fundraising at Penn State Mont Alto Sponsored by the Franklin County Penn State Alumni Chapter Supported by the Mont Alto Alumni Society Date & Time: Sunday, December 2, 2018 Registration Begins @ 12:00 PM Location: Cowans Gap Lake Beach Area 6235 Aughwick Road Fort Loudon, PA 17233 The Plunge is open to public participation Proceeds go to support THON fundraising at Penn State Mont Alto All donations are tax deductible Registration to participate in Plunge is $12 per person and includes a free promotional Tee shirt.. This payment must be done on the free TASSL app that participant should download. Participants are encouraged to secure at least $100 in sponsorship *Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers There is a changing facility at the park Participants should dress for the weather * This is a family friendly event and all swimmers are expected to dress appropriately Plunging begins in small group waves at 1:00 PM Waivers must be signed in advance of plunging Plunge is defined as a “quick submersion” Safety personnel will be on site during plunge Participants should secure sponsors for their plunge by sending supporters to their personal First Giving page to make a tax-deductible gift via credit card gift. NOTE: Donors will have the option of covering the 7.5% processing fee on their gifts.
