Sweet Success Social - Conversations, connections, and a taste of what’s possible. Celebrate Alumni Appreciation Week at our Sweet Success Social, a dessert reception bringing together Penn State alumni and current students for an hour of connection and inspiration. Enjoy a spread of sweet treats while mingling with alumni and students. This relaxed, welcoming event is the perfect setting to connect, share stories, build relationships and strengthen the Penn State network — one sweet conversation at a time.

🌱Thyme to Grow 
Date: Tuesday, April 21| Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm 
 ***Limited number of seats available 
Join Dr. David Sanford, Emeritus Associate Professor of Horticulture for a hands-on, creative workshop where you’ll design and plant your very own container filled with fragrant herbs and beautiful edible flowers! 

What to Expect: 
     *Learn how to select and combine herbs and edible flowers 
     *Tips on container gardening and plant care 
     *Guidance on harvesting and using your plants in everyday meals
     *Take home your own custom-planted container

Stop by for a scoop of Penn State Creamery ice cream and a Berks Proud yard sign to take home. While you are here, take a moment to make a lasting impact. Write a cheerful note of encouragement, advice, or congratulations to our graduating seniors. Your words will be shared with them during graduation week as they prepare for their next chapter. Whether it’s a quick hello or a heartfelt message, your support will demonstrate to our graduating seniors just how strong and connected the Berks alumni network is.
