Science on the Spot
"Science on the Spot" is a new event series featuring Eberly faculty who will share research news and updates. Please join us to meet Sarah Shandera, the director of Penn State's Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos. Dr. Shandera will discuss how powerful new observatories are bringing us first-time views of the vast areas of the universe, revealing an incredible diversity of objects and systems. At Penn State’s Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos, we study this cosmic ecosystem and push out the boundaries of knowledge in physics, astrophysics, and data science. This talk will be a tour of the cosmos, guided by the burning questions that inspire our researchers.
